“Caving, hiking, and birding—oh my!”

We had a great time during our trip to Mammoth Cave NP, taking both The Historic Tour and the Violet City Lantern Tour. The latter was our favorite as we got to explore many historical sights with only lanterns as lighting, and we recommend wearing good hiking shoes for the steep and strenuous parts of the tour.

“Well worth a visit”

This unique and enjoyable place to stay is well-maintained by its caring owners, resulting in a great experience. The clean accommodations, beautiful grounds, and community-building campfires make it worth returning to and visiting again, especially if you appreciate historic properties.

“Great for families!”

We revisited this place after 12 years to recreate an old photo and create new memories. It's a great place for kids and adults who love dinosaurs, though they are not interactive, and we highly recommend it.
